Shipping container specialists Royal Wolf have opened a new branch in West Auckland to meet increased demand for shipping container products across New Zealand’s largest city.
Paul Creighton, Royal Wolf Executive General Manager, says with growing local inquiry and demand for containerised solutions continuing to increase locally, West Auckland was identified as a satellite opportunity.
“With demand ramping up across Auckland it made sense to service the area from a local destination. It is a go-ahead area with ongoing community, residential and commercial development in progress, and we look forward to playing a part in the growth of West Auckland in the future,” he says.
The new branch was set up in partnership with local transport company, Combined Haulage, which has worked with Royal Wolf for many years to transport containers.
Royal Wolf will operate from Combined Haulage’s site at 616 Swanson Road to service an area covering the Waitakere Ranges and west coast beaches such as Piha, through to Avondale, and out to Westgate.
Royal Wolf is New Zealand’s leading shipping container supplier and with the opening of its West Auckland branch the company has 16 facilities around the country from Whangarei to Invercargill.
West Auckland will be managed by Anthony McGinn.
Creighton says having staff on the ground with local knowledge is key to ensuring the company has the right product on hand.
“The team at the West Auckland branch will be able to meet our customer’s needs and ensure quick and efficient deployment of containers,” he says.
“There really is no limit to what you make out of containers. We specialise in modifying and creating container solutions to meet a customer’s specific needs – from a simple temporary storage container through to an innovative and bespoke set up.”
