Used for a range of purposes including intermodal transportation, storage and retail displays, Royal Wolf’s 20ft side door shipping containers are easy to access, thanks to the bi-fold doors located on both sides. When the door panels are folded back, the entire side of the container is left open, making loading and unloading very convenient. These durable doors can then fold back into place, providing the same level of security and protection for your cargo as any other type of shipping container. Royal Wolf’s side opening containers come complete with mezzanine decks to allow for the safe and convenience double stacking of the products. These decks have an adjustable height to ensure space utilisation is a top priority.
Our side door shipping containers are produced with either vented or non-vented side doors, giving you the option to choose whichever design best suits your needs. The pallet wide width makes it easy to transport or store a large quantity of product without wasting space, where our built-in load binders and straps help to secure your cargo during transportation. In all, these 20ft models can hold up to 20 standard pallets.

With some modifications the retail and events industries use side door containers as portable shops, while a complete customisation and upgrade process can turn them into everything from living spaces to semi open air retail kiosks.

The Swinglift truck delivers the container by picking it up from the trucks tray at each end of the unit and lowering it onto the site directly next to the trucks’ tray. This method is ideal for delivery of containers that need to fit into constricted spaces. It is important to consider which way the container should be loaded onto the truck as it can only be unloaded from the right hand (drivers’) side.
