The Royal Wolf line of half height shipping containers has been specially designed and engineered to carry bulk cargo that’s both heavy and dense. This makes them perfect for use in the mining industry, where they can be put to use carrying concentrates, sand, ore and other mined materials. Because of their design and their lower centre of gravity, they can handle more load than other types of shipping containers.
Suitable for bulk products such as concentrates, sand and grinding media, half height shipping containers are supplied with waterproof removable hard lids which also eliminate dust during transit. They are heavy duty, have smooth walls, empty and loaded lift fork pockets and can be custom built to specific requirements, in a range of various heights and discharge systems.

Swinglift

The Swinglift truck delivers the container by picking it up from the trucks tray at each end of the unit and lowering it onto the site directly next to the trucks’ tray. This method is ideal for delivery of containers that need to fit into constricted spaces. It is important to consider which way the container should be loaded onto the truck as it can only be unloaded from the right hand (drivers’) side.

This delivery method is used when neither a tilt tray or side loader truck can access the site. Hiab delivery allows for containers to be delivered over obstructions such as fences.
