Specialist civil engineering company, BBR Contech, is undertaking work to repair and strengthen Princes Wharf in central city Auckland.
BBR Contech had been using an onsite wharf office however with cruise ships returning to Auckland the company required a temporary site office and storage solution for the duration of the project.
Royal Wolf supplied a site office, lunchroom (with the best views in Auckland), and a storage container double stacked to reduce impact on the wharf.
Prime, yet challenging spot
While the install was completed in a morning, the exposed nature of the site meant pre-planning was key.
With the site located between two buildings on the harbours edge, it sees a significant amount of wind. Our engineers and Business Development Manager Matt Somerville worked with BBR Contech to secure the units directly to the wharf. This will keep the three containers locked in place for the duration of the project.
